BIO

I was born in 1975 in Portugal and spent my childhood and youth between Lisbon, the capital city, and other regions of Portugal, experiences that exposed me early on to diverse environments and ways of life. These experiences nurtured my intellectual curiosity and a deep interest in the cultural and social dimensions of the world around me.

From an early age, I developed a passion for history, literature, and following international current affairs, cultivating habits of reading, reflection, and critical thinking. At the same time, I discovered a strong affinity for the arts as a means to interpret reality and express the richness of human experience.

After completing my studies in law and becoming a lawyer, I realized that this path was more than a career—it became my vocation, shaping the way I approach challenges, advocate for others, and engage with society. This professional calling has been a guiding thread throughout my life, providing purpose and direction.

Alongside my legal practice, I have pursued photography as a form of artistic expression, completing formal studies in the field and graduating with professional training. Through photography, I have developed various personal projects that allow me to explore creativity and perception. I also maintain a lifelong passion for music and the arts more broadly, which I regard as essential sources of aesthetic sensitivity, curiosity, and understanding of contemporary culture.
